Conclusion

The only weather factor that has a correlation to the equator is the temperature. And that correlation is only 46% in the northern hemosphere and 43% in the southern hemosphere, which is considered a weak correlation. Please do check the limitations of this dataset as it may well have contributed to this conclusion.

Please note that for all plots and conclusions , the following limitations are applicable to this dataset:

• The weather information was all taken at the same date. This means that in some parts of the world it is summer and in other parts it is winter. The date the wather data was taken is 11 October 2020. In WA that is spring, in Europe it is in the fall.
• The weather information was all taken at the same time. This means that in some parts of the world it is day and in other parts it is night. The time the weather data was taken is 10:25am in the UK. Here in WA that is 6:25pm.
• For the temperature the maximum temperature was used so the time of the day doesn't affect the outcome.
